The Market Jindabyne opened on the 11th of March 2017 with the intention of providing a place for our community to access fresh, local produce, organic fruits and vegetables, ethical nessesities and low waste living supplies.. along with a gathering space for our community; which manifested itself as our "third place" coffee shop.

In community building, the third place is the social surroundings separate from the two usual social environments one frequents of home and the workplace. They are locations where we exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships. Examples of third places would be environments such as coffee shops, pubs, clubs, churches, public libraries, bookstores or parks.

The Market offers ethical, exceptional quality, high vibrational products. It's all about the experience for us.. in store and in life. Our regular customers tell us this is why they return again and again.. because rather than feeling that they are simply "grabbing the shopping" or "a quick coffee", it feels as if they've just spent the morning at the local farmers market, meeting friends and strangers for good conversation and laughs while obtaining the necessities.

The modern world is full of hurry and busy and we strive to offer an antidote.

To us, ethical means:

NO GMO's
NO PESTISIDES on our produce!

NO ARTIFICIAL COLOURS OR FLAVOURS
NO SLAVERY CHOCOLATE/CACAO
NO ASPARTAME

NO HABITAT RUINING PALM OIL

and support for:

ORGANIC AND BIO-DYNAMIC FARMING PRACTICES

SPRAY-FREE LOCAL PRODUCE

AUSTRALIAN MADE

FAIR TRADE / DIRECT TRADE

OFFERING BULK SUPPLIES TO REDUCE PACKAGING WASTE

LOW IMPACT, LOW WASTE LIVING

We aim to provide a thoughtfully curated selection of all the essentials in life so you can relax while you shop knowing your items are ethically sound, and you are supporting a small family owned business while you do it!

We create the world we live in by our choices and where we choose to direct our energies.. If this isn't the definition of voting with your dollar I don't know what is.. Let's work together to build and ensure a healthier, more secure food chain for the future generations.

Please let us know how we can best serve you in your needs while you journey through your life. We are always open to your input on how we can better serve our beautiful community.
